ICAR-CIFA has Three Guest Houses, Ashoka Guest House, Dhauli Guest House and Kalinga Hostel situated in the campus. These Guest Houses are primarily meant for official guests of the IARI/ ICAR/participants of Seminars / Workshops/ Symposia / Conferences / Training Programmes Organised by the Institute as well as those sponsored by the ICAR. Scientists/Researchers from other ICAR Institute/SAUs/ Central /State Government may also be accommodated provided they write well in advance for reservation of rooms to the Officer In-charge of the Guest Houses. Accommodation shall be provided subject to the availability of rooms at the time of arrival of the guests. The campus is lush green in the abode of nature with virgin environment.

The Guest Houses provide beddings (bed sheet, pillow, sheet, pillow-cover, blanket, mattress etc.). An inventory of articles for use in the rooms is available in each room. The guests are requested to check these items at the time of occupying the room. The responsibility for any missing item will, thereafter, rest with the guests. The guests are responsible for proper use and upkeep of the materials/fixtures provided in the rooms as also in the guest house. They shall be liable to pay charges for any loss or damage caused during their stay. Check-out time is 24 hrs from the time of arrival. The Guest may check in at any time, however, for the purpose of accounting, a day means 24 hours from the time of occupancy / arrival. Fraction of day will be counted as full day. All dues should be cleared before departure during office hours (preferably 10 a.m.- 4p.m.) on working days. Please demand official receipts for payments made. We promote online mode of payments at our Guest Houses. Please Cooperate. Please do not forget to carry and produce proper identity proof as per demand during your stay in the CIFA guest houses.

Information for Guests

The room rent charges shall be applicable as per the status of the guest staying in the Guest House and not as per the status of the officer who has booked the accommodation e.g. if any ICAR/DARE employee is booking accommodation for a private person, charges will be as applicable to “Private Visitor” and not “ICAR Charges”.
Consumption of alcohol and smoking of cigarette in the guest house is strictly prohibited.
Please close all doors and windows, including bathroom door while running AC for effective functioning and to save electricity.
Please switch off AC and other points including bulb, TV etc. and cut off switch of the room when going out.
Kindly close all water taps in the toilet after use.
Please take care of your valuables. Guest house management is not responsible for any loss/damage.
Please observe economy in power/water consumption. Do not waste it.
Television operation is through set-top box. Please switch on both TV and the set-top box to watch TV.
Cafeteria timings: breakfast – 8.00 am to 9.30 am, lunch – 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm and dinner – 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm. Cafeteria is located on the ground floor of each guest house/ hostel.
Food is not served in rooms.
On vacating the room, obtain payment receipt from Caretaker.
The guest are requested to kindly vacate the premises by 8.00 am for the next allotted guest, if any on vacatting.
In case of any complaint, please contact Caretaker/ Attendants.
Please hand over the keys with the attendants while leaving / vacating the room.
It is advised that students/ trainees going out of the campus, should return to rooms by 23:00 hrs. Entry to hostel beyond 23:00 hrs will be subject to permission from concerned coordinator.
Cooperation with the guest house staff is highly solicited, they shall provide necessary logistics with the help of available gout. Resources

अतिथियों हेतु आवश्‍यक सूचना

कमरे का किराया गेस्ट हाउस में ठहरने वाले मेहमान की हैसियत के अनुसार लागू होगा, न कि उस अधिकारी की हैसियत के अनुसार जिसने कमरा बुक किया है। उदाहरण के लिए, यदि कोई ICAR/DARE कर्मचारी किसी निजी व्यक्ति के लिए कमरा बुक करता है, तो किराया “निजी आगंतुक” पर लागू दरों के अनुसार होगा, न कि “ICAR दरों” के अनुसार।
गेस्ट हाउस में शराब पीना और सिगरेट पीना सख्त मना है।
AC के सही ढंग से काम करने और बिजली बचाने के लिए, कृपया AC चलाते समय बाथरूम के दरवाज़े सहित सभी दरवाज़े और खिड़कियाँ बंद रखें।
बाहर जाते समय, कृपया AC और अन्य चीज़ें (जैसे बल्ब, TV वगैरह) बंद कर दें और कमरे का मेन स्विच भी बंद कर दें।
कृपया टॉयलेट इस्तेमाल करने के बाद पानी के सभी नल बंद कर दें।
कृपया अपनी कीमती चीज़ों का ध्यान रखें। किसी भी नुकसान या चोरी के लिए गेस्ट हाउस मैनेजमेंट ज़िम्मेदार नहीं होगा।
कृपया बिजली और पानी का इस्तेमाल सोच-समझकर करें। इन्हें बर्बाद न करें।
TV सेट-टॉप बॉक्स से चलता है। TV देखने के लिए कृपया TV और सेट-टॉप बॉक्स, दोनों को चालू करें।
कैफ़ेटेरिया का समय: नाश्ता – सुबह 8.00 बजे से 9.30 बजे तक, दोपहर का खाना – दोपहर 1.00 बजे से 2.00 बजे तक, और रात का खाना – रात 8.00 बजे से 9.30 बजे तक। कैफ़ेटेरिया हर गेस्ट हाउस/हॉस्टल के ग्राउंड फ़्लोर पर है।
कमरों में खाना नहीं परोसा जाता है।
कमरा खाली करते समय, केयरटेकर से पेमेंट की रसीद ज़रूर ले लें।
मेहमानों से अनुरोध है कि कमरा खाली करते समय, अगर कोई अगला मेहमान आने वाला हो, तो कृपया सुबह 8.00 बजे तक कमरा खाली कर दें।
अगर कोई शिकायत हो, तो कृपया केयरटेकर या अटेंडेंट से संपर्क करें।
कमरा छोड़ते या खाली करते समय, कृपया चाबियाँ अटेंडेंट को सौंप दें।
छात्रों/ट्रेनियों को सलाह दी जाती है कि अगर वे कैंपस से बाहर जा रहे हैं, तो रात 11:00 बजे (23:00 hrs) तक अपने कमरों में लौट आएं। रात 11:00 बजे के बाद हॉस्टल में एंट्री संबंधित कोऑर्डिनेटर की इजाज़त से ही मिलेगी।
गेस्ट हाउस के स्टाफ़ के साथ सहयोग करने की आपसे पूरी उम्मीद है; वे उपलब्ध संसाधनों की मदद से आपको ज़रूरी सुविधाएँ देंगे।
